1. Liaising with Govt. authorities, regulatory authorities to obtain plan sanctions/approvals/clearances/permission/exemptions etc.
2. To Liaison with various departments such as State pollution control board, , Village Panchayath, Municipal Panchayath, Department of police, NHAI, Directorate of Factories and Boilers, MOEF Ministry of Environment and Forest or any other govt. department to obtain the necessary clearances sanctions/approvals /permission/exemptions and No Objection certificates.
3. Mediating with state and central Government Departments relating to sanctions and approvals.
4. Liaising with various Government Departments relating to revenue matters
5. Liasioning with any other government officials for company related works
6. Coordinating with external agencies wherever it is required.
7. Prepare claims or defense of claims, plaint, Written statement, complaint etc.
8. Draft/review all kinds of notices, pledging, appeal or any other documents with respect to the litigation, Interpret laws, rulings, regulations and update the new enactment or amendment
9. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
10. Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case by going through the document.
11. Study Constitution, statutes, decisions, regulations, and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies to determine ramifications for cases.
12. Prepare and draft legal documents including briefs and opinions.
13. Negotiate settlements and mediation of the litigation as per the directive of the company.
14. Regularly handle court appearances and depositions and provide status reports to the management.
15. Draw strategy to close the matter in a speedy way.
16. Deal with all external counsels, advocate and furnish timely assistance to the external counsel for successfully handling the matter entrusted to them.
17. Introduce new legal counsel/firm/advocate to the company on need basis.
18. Drafting: working knowledge on Drafting, negotiating and finalizing agreement to sell, sale deed registration of property, joint development agreement etc.
19. Able to conduct /provide legal opinion on title of property, registration, obtaining approvals from the governmental department etc.
20. Should have working knowledge/experience on land acquisition.
21. Liaise with various revenue department for land acquisition or for conversion of land or for obtaining clearances, sanctions, permissions and approval for the above objective.
